Shame On The City of Norton

Having this best friend's festival,supposed to be kid-friendly with free food and games EXCEPT for the kid's pool bash on Friday,where the Norton Pool will be charging regular admission. That is shameful IMO. Either be in for a penny or a pound. Charge for it all,or make it all free (which it should be,considering the megabucks the "city" fleeces us out of with it's slew of various fees). Nothing special at all about that "bash". Heck,we can pay regular admission anyday

now if they had free drinks for the kids on kids nite or something like that or free food for them then that would be allright but as far as the pool charging full price for admission i agree at least make it like .50 not full price

People always wanting [censored] for free, can't make everybody happy I guess. If you don't like it don't come, there will be plenty more to take your spot in line. With astronomical highs in just about everything at this point in time, just be lucky there are even any events going on.

I have zero problem paying full admission to take my kids to the pool (have done it often) However,there are those in the area that could use a break even if it is just one day a year. My point isn't about wanting something for free (although like I said it wouldn't kill the city to do that). My point is don't play this off to be some kind of special "Kid's Pool Bash",when you aren't going to do anything for the kids. We can pay regular admission and have "this kind of bash" anytime.
